So tonight, the Master's Choral (no, it does not have anything to do with horses...it's a choir) gave their first performance. Since I am part of said choral, it would follow that I was involved in that performance.
If you followed that thought process, you would be correct.
To be honest, I was so nervous, my knees were shaking. We all entered the hall just as we planned, got up on the risers, and proceeded to sing our little hearts out!
During the first song, there happens to be a note that I didn't know I could hit until yesterday. Well, as we rose to the note, so did I, and I BELTED that note out....and then swayed back and forth from a combination of weak knees and lack of breath. Not a pleasant feeling, let me tell you. But I didn't faint (good thing too.....I would have taken out the three rows of singers below me or fallen off the back of the risers :)
Anyway, it was a great time, and no matter how intimidating it was, it was still fun. We were all together, singing our hearts out to God.
It's times like that when I wonder if that's a preview of Heaven......
Goodnight all!
